Every year the day after the Ekka finishes, is the Toy Specialty. Well... there
was TWELVE baby female cavaliers entered! Miss Fleur took 4th place!! Thats not bad considering it was only her 2nd show!!
*17th August 2007*
The day after the Cavalers, were the Pugs. Well we had
"the girls" entered. Gabby didn't place, but with what the judge put up later, I can understand why. She's big
for her age. About 15 minutes later she was judging Intermediate, and Scout's "best pug friend" *Minnie* WON her class (of
3)!! We were in the very next class, with 7 entered. My li'l showgirl placed 2nd!!
*16th August 2007*
ITS EKKA TIME!! We only had 3 Cavalier's entered, all boys.
First went Riley who came 2nd in class, then Hagrid who came 3rd with some NICE comments, but unfortunatly she thought he
was slightly too young for the class. Unfortunatly Bailey didn't place, but he's still my baby boy!! (Judge was G. Taylor
- Canada)
*5th August 2007*
For the first time in YEARS Team Aberlour & Fasusq enterd a sweepstakes
class. It was with "Fleur" (out of Bailey to Willow), and it was Baby sweeps. Well under breed specialty judge Mr J. Connell
(Portcon Cavaliers - Vic) she got 4th place (Highest placed toy) out of an enty of about 25 (+ or - a few) Well
he wasn't the only breed specialty judge that day, Doing the toy group was Mrs J. Egan of the world famous MELLOWAY Cavaliers
(SA). Well Fleur got 2nd in class to a LOVELY Tri colour, who went on to win Baby in Group. Congratulations Eliza!!
As well as Fleur we had Bailey and Riley. RIley won the Minor dog class, and not long later Bailey
won the Open dog class. Followed by both of them winning their class of breed. (For non show people, they beat the girls of
their age group)
